ALLIANCE, OHIO – WDJQ Q92 received news earlier today that Magistrate Kristen Moore found Defendant D.A. Peterson, Inc. dba WDJQ/WDPN Radio not liable of any wrong doing with regards to allegations made by former Q92 employee, Plaintiff Bryan Modzelewski.
“Mr. Modezleski’s lawsuit against the Q92 team directly challenged one of the most fundamental principles recognized in the workplace: that an employee is obligated to competently perform his or her job, rather than advancing his or her own personal agenda at the expense of the employer and fellow employees,” said Attorney Edmond Mack of Tzangas Plakas Mannos Ltd. “Magistrate Kristen Moore’s decision confirms this workplace principle, and once again makes clear that an employee’s disloyalty toward his or her employer and co-workers will not be tolerated in our community.”
When the decision from the Magistrate was handed down earlier this morning, Station Manager Don Peterson stated “On behalf of the station and our staff we are very pleased with Magistrate Moore’s decision. We are a team at Q92 and we work for our listeners. We are glad this case is coming to an end and that our staff can continue to focus on its top priority: playing great music for Q92’s listeners, supporting our community and promoting our advertisers.”
