Biography

Karen L. Marku, our Chief Litigation Paralegal, has been employed at Tzangas Plakas Mannos Ltd for over 30 years, starting on January 2, 1990.

Ms. Marku specializes in personal injury and medical malpractice cases. She handles cases from the initial intake with the clients through either settlement of the client’s claim or up to the time of the trial. She has been a critical team member in many multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements obtained by our firm.

In July 1987, Ms. Marku earned her Paralegal Certificate from the American Institute of Paralegal Studies and has worked as a paralegal since that time. Prior to being certificated as a paralegal, Ms. Marku worked as a legal secretary.

Ms. Marku is a 1973 graduate of Tuscarawas Valley High School, where she studied business office classes from October 1971 through June 1973. Prior to that, Ms. Marku attended Canton Lehman High School from September 1969 through October 1971.

Ms. Marku receives much satisfaction in helping those who have been harmed by the negligence of others and strives to assist the attorneys in obtaining justice for our clients. She lives by the motto that the luckiest people in life are those who love what they do for a living.
