Attorney Bio

Joshua E. O’Farrell is an associate attorney at our firm. Mr. O’Farrell has extensive experience representing landowners throughout East Central and Northeast Ohio in oil and gas lease negotiations, pipeline right-of-way agreement negotiations, mineral sale transactions, and in complex oil and gas litigation. Mr. O’Farrell also practices toxic torts and environmental litigation, commercial litigation, personal injury litigation, and family law.

Mr. O’Farrell was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2010. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Mr. O’Farrell graduated from New Philadelphia High School. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in History and graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law.

Mr. O’Farrell resides in New Philadelphia with his wife, Christin, and their two sons, Liam and Jameson.

Community & Civic Associations

Mr. O’Farrell is truly dedicated to his community. He served as State Representative for the 96th District, which included parts of Tuscarawas and Belmont Counties, and all of Harrison County, from June 2010 until December 31, 2010. In addition, Mr. O’Farrell serves on the Board of Southeastern Ohio Legal Services.

In February of 2011, Mr. O’Farrell and his wife, Christin, formed the O’Farrell Family Hug Foundation, which hosts the annual “Run for Shoes”, a 5K race in which all proceeds are used to purchase shoes for children of families in need. Also in 2011, Mr. O’Farrell’s foundation helped feed over 100 Tuscarawas County families through the O’Farrell Family Hug Foundation Thanksgiving Turkey Drive.
