EDMOND J. MACK
Edmond J. Mack is an associate attorney with our firm. He focuses his practice on both prosecuting and defending complex litigation matters.
Mr. Mack represents public and private corporations and individuals in a wide range of contractual disputes, including sales governed by the Uniform Commercial Code, real estate matters, and employment litigation. He has also litigated matters involving close corporations, fiduciary duties, antitrust and monopolization, governmental liability, and class actions.
He was recently named to the Ohio Rising Stars 2010 list, compiled by Law & Politics Magazine. Rising Stars are Ohio’s best attorneys who are 40 or under or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. Representing just the top 2.5% of Ohio lawyers, Rising Stars are selected through a rigorous nomination and selection process.
Mr. Mack was admitted to the Ohio Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio in 2007. He was admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in 2010. He is a member of the American, Ohio, Akron, and Stark County Bar Associations.
Recognized for his work in civil litigation and oral advocacy, he received his law degree from the University of Akron School of Law cum laude. During law school, he was a law clerk for the Honorable Elinore Marsh Stormer of the Summit County Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Mack received his undergraduate degree from Kent State University cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and history.
Mr. Mack serves his community by providing pro-bono legal services on behalf of public interest groups in Ohio Appellate Courts as amicus curie. He also volunteers his legal services through the Wills for Heroes Foundation, and serves as a member of the Kent State University Stark Chapter Alumni Board.
